An Introduction
Owned by myself Chris Caple and located in Lincolnshire England.
Established in 2001 Plane Crazy Aircraft Artwork is a specialist aviation art print gallery
offering unframed digital art prints taken from my personal collection of aviation artwork.
I grew up in Lincolnshire England and it is from here that I work and draw inspiration
for my aviation work.
Being the son of an RAF Crew Chief I have always had a keen interest in aviation which goes back
to the years when my father flew on Vickers Valiants and Avro Vulcans while serving with the
RAF V Force during the1950-1960s.
After working with photography and imaging for more that twenty years I decided to bring my
interests of aviation and artwork together to produce a set of images that will appeal to a wide
range of aviation enthusiasts and professional air crews alike.
The images are created by using the most original artwork , drawing and digital imaging
techniques available .
Each Signature series & Limited Edition series of work is printed on 200lb pressed high china
graph paper .
They are all individually inspected for quality with the Artwork pieces being signed and numbered
by the artist.
All of my works are drawn from memories and talking to people connected with the images
portrayed
